Guests / What to Expect

We believe we can be an encouragement to you and your entire family no matter where you find yourself in life's journey. If you are looking for a church family, join us for one of our dynamic worship services and/or Bible studies. We look forward to meeting you.

When you arrive on campus...

...You can enter through the double doors in the west wing (Jefferson Road entrance) or the double doors on the north side of the Ministry Center (Westridge Road entrance).  Once inside, you will be welcomed by our greeters. They will also answer any questions you have and can help direct you to our Sunday School classes and/or worship services.

If you have a baby...

...You are welcome to bring your infant into the Worship Center for worship. A family room can be found in the balcony where you and your child may slip away if needed. The service is broadcast into the family room so you won't miss a thing. However, if you would like to utilize our infant environment, we encourage you to take advantage of our supervised childcare with skilled and loving caregivers, who have successfully passed a criminal background check.

As you enter the Worship Center...

...You will be greeted by ushers who will give you a bulletin which contains important news about the church, a Connect Card, and an order of worship. For our younger worship participants, Kids' Sermon Note are also availbale along with the bulletin. Our ushers are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs.

As our guest...

...We welcome you to fill out a Connect Card found inside your bulletin. Return your card as the offering plate is being passed around as your gift to us. Electronically, you may text the word "Connect" to 336-770-2160 in lieu of a Connect Card. As a first-time guest to FABC, we want to show you our appreciation for visiting. Please consider attending our Guest Reception following the 10:45 services in room MC-104 in the Ministry Center. There you can connect with our pastors and other church leaders so that we may better serve you. Ushers and other volunteers can help you find your way there.

Our worship services...

...Offer two opportunities for you to worship at 8:15 a.m. and at 10:45 a.m. in our Worship Center. Our services are "traditional" in the sense that we identify with the historical church and the faith that has been handed down through the generations by means of the clear teaching of God's unchanging Word. Our services are also "contemporary" in the sense that we seek to make the timless gospel of Jesus Christ understanably relevant and applicable to today's circumstances. Musically, we are a blend of traditional and contemporary elements making the most of the talent God has blessed us with through our Praise Teams, Worship Choir, and Orchestra. Overall, our committment to corporate worship revolves around these 10 biblical principles as we desire to bring all people into the joy of a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ through our worship gatherings.
